Welcome to Meoncross School
A child's educational journey should be as unique as they are. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach whereby every child has the individual attention they need to thrive and succeed both in and out of the classroom. At Meoncross, every child is safe to say ‘I can be the best possible ME’.
We are very proud to be a through school for children aged 2.5 - 16 years, meaning we can welcome children into our school at any point in their educational journey. This could be at a natural key stage transition point such as starting 'big school' in Reception, Juniors in Year 3, or Upper School in Year 7, or anything in between.
Academic achievement is high, but so is our focus on wellbeing, as we know that happy children are high achieving children. We nurture our pupils and develop the characteristics and qualities we know they will need to build bright futures.
Excellent Academics
We were ranked 21st nationally in Times Parent Power Guide in 2025, and we have a proven track record of achieving excellence when it comes to academic results. Our pupils routinely achieve results well above the national average, from our Early Years to key Primary stages and GCSE results.
Holistic Approach
Emotional intelligence is just as important as academic achievement and we want our pupils to be confident, compassionate and capable young people. We believe it’s crucial to develop a child’s character through teaching transferable skills that will help them to thrive in the future.
We Are Meoncross
We have a strong family ethos, and instil a sense of great pride in our school community. We look after, support and encourage each other to always be our best.
At Meoncross, we often talk about the right school being “a feeling”, and in our school film we wanted to convey what a special and unique feeling there is at our school.
We hope you enjoy watching our film, and we look forward to welcoming you to experience Meoncross in person if you would like to find out more.
“Family is our central value and that means we are accepting, that we are kind to each other, we seek to understand and appreciate each other.”

The 51st Titchfield Art and Craft Show 🎨 @titchfieldart
This year, Meoncross was proud to sponsor the Best in Show award at the 51st Titchfield Art and Craft Show. A few members of our staff, including Mrs Ebery, attended over the weekend it was on to support this fantastic event.
Our talented art teacher, Miss Ansen 👩🎨⭐, was honoured to serve as one of the judges—a true testament to her expertise and passion for the arts.
Meanwhile, Mrs Clarke played a key role as a committee member and took the lead in organising the Craft section. Her own incredible work was also featured in both the Art and Craft categories—and impressively, every piece she exhibited was sold! 🖼🧵
To top it all off, Mrs Clarke was awarded a prize in the Photography and Digital Art category—a well-deserved recognition of her creativity and skill.

Year 9 Geographers Field Study Trip! 🌳🌊
Year 9 visited Gilbert White’s Field Study Centre in Selborne for a full day of geography fieldwork.
Pupils tackled two tasks: map skills—where they tested their knowledge of grid references, scale, and symbols, then created scaled maps using trundle wheels. 🗺🔎
In the rivers session, students waded through Well Head Stream (a tributary of the River Wey), measuring cross sections, analysing sediment, gauging flow rate, and surveying invertebrates. 📏🌊
It was fantastic to see them applying classroom theory in the field, working as teams, and respecting the natural environment. A valuable day for all—especially those continuing Geography at GCSE! 🌍
