Academic Excellence

We inspire our pupils to aim high

The standards of education offered at Meoncross are very high indeed as we embed our value of achievement throughout the school; pupils regularly and consistently exceed our expectations across all subjects.

Our close relationships help us to build pupils' confidence as they face up to challenges in lessons, flexing their wings in a safe environment, which in turn builds their resilience
and self-belief.

In 2024, we significantly outperformed schools nationally in every category most notably with 34% of our grades at 7-9, compared to a national average of 22%, and an impressive 89% of students achieving a pass rate at grade 4 and above, compared to a national average of 68%.
It is fabulous to see how successful our diverse group of pupils has been. They have excelled in their passions from Textiles to Computer Science and from Geography to Physics.
